Ministry Director Angela Burton

Phillip and Angela Burton have been serving at Strong Tower Ministries since 1996.  They have led in various ministries within the church, but their true passions are evident in their daily lives.  Phillip has always had a passion for music.  He has been Strong Tower’s Worship Pastor for several years and leads his team in worship, praise, and personal relationship with Jesus.  Phillip encourages the STM worship team to lead the people into the presence of God as they themselves lift up their hearts in intimate worship to their Savior.  Phillip is a member of the Strong Tower Board of Directors and advises in the financial decisions and direction of the church.  He is the owner of a small commercial business that he operates with his oldest son, Justin.  Angela is currently Strong Tower’s Ministry Director.  She is responsible for the direction and growth of each individual ministry within the church. She challenges, encourages, and imparts life into the church leaders, volunteers, and lay persons.  She is currently working toward her Masters in Ministry through Indiana Wesleyan Seminary.  She has written and taught a woman’s Bible study entitled, “Great by Design” and empowers and imparts life through her webpage www.impartinglife.net. Phillip and Angela both take time from their ministries and life schedules to serve the community.  Phillip serves as a volunteer firefighter and is currently working toward his EMT training to better assist in the responsibilities of a firefighter.  Angela serves every week at the community food bank along with her youngest son, Levi.  Angela has homeschooled her children over the past 11 years, graduating Justin in 2010 and Seth is May 2012.  Phillip and Angela look forward to continued growth in their relationships with God and with each other.  They have been married for 15 years.
